The inn was first mentioned in 1524 under the name "Tafeln in der Schellnau" and is one of the oldest houses in Großraming.
In the typical village inn with its stylistically unadulterated interior from 1951 in the parlour, guests can enjoy hearty Upper Austrian home cooking. The Wednesday dumpling day is legendary, attracting many regulars as well as gourmets who are drawn by word of mouth. On average, around 300 grammel, meat and hash brown dumplings are cooked.

The "Ritteressen" (knight's meal) is also particularly popular and is consumed extensively on particularly festive occasions.

Homemade pastries round off the culinary offering.

On the upper floor there are rooms that can accommodate up to 120 people. In an old vault there is a cosy parlour with a tiled stove.
