Peace Light Marathon 2025 - On the road together for peace
On Sunday, December 14, 2025, the traditional Peace Light Marathon from Kremsmünster to Adlwang will take place again.
Departure is at 6:15 am from Adlwang elementary school. After a prayer in St. Michael's Chapel at Kremsmünster Abbey with a ceremonial handover of the Peace Light (starting at 6:45 am), the run starts at 7:30 am.
Stops with a short tea break are planned in Rohr (Marktplatz, approx. 8:10 am) and in Bad Hall (Eduard-Bach-Straße, approx. 8:50 am). The running group is expected to arrive in Adlwang at around 9:30 am. After a short opportunity to change clothes, the church service with Father Siegfried will begin at 10:00 am.
The running pace is around 6:30 / km; it is possible to join in along the route by arrangement.
