Going to d'Grean - Vineyard Event

In d' Grean gehen is an Easter custom from the Weinviertel region. Derived from the custom of going to Emmaus, it goes back to the tasting of young wine, during which thanks were also given for the harvest. Today, the custom is understood as welcoming spring in the company of a winegrower from Easter to Whitsun.

Participants can expect a convivial wine tasting with guided tours and expert discussions in the vineyard in Großmengersdorf. From 2 p.m., regional products will be on sale at Weinbau Rogl's wine stand by the dry stone wall (address Großmengersdorf 12). Also ideal as a leisurely Easter excursion for the whole family!

In case of bad weather, there will be a wine tasting and company presentation at Weinhaus Urndorf, Urndorferstraße 18.
