Three museums under one roof

Forum Hall is home to a unique handicrafts museum and a folklore museum all following the motto: "Don't scorn the masters"

The museum of crafts and trades exhibits 22 rural crafts, the working and living conditions of the craftsmen, the guild system, local customs structural change in the wake of industrialisation.

The folklore museum shows local and regional history, the history of the healing baths, agricultural domestic culture and the history of Bad Hall’s Transylvanian Saxons.

Another highlight of the museum is the world's first collection of entrance doors.
Behind the salt graduation pavilion an inscription by Franz Wenger praises the healing effects of the local springs and their beauty throughout the seasons of the year.
.<< Franzl Wenger, Franz Stein (1821-1898) was primary school headmaster in Bad Hall, whose married name was Wenger. He is the grandfather of the Viennese actor and ORF-presenter Günter Tolar.
