Main square in Bad Hall

Last redesigned in 1999, then as now a popular meeting place for spa guests and locals: You can stroll around the various shops, watch the colourful hustle and bustle of the town and linger in the pavement cafés.

Elliptical in shape, lined with many beautiful town houses, most of which were hotels and guesthouses in the 19th and 20th centuries. Destroyed twice by major fires, formerly three large market fountains (e.g. "Florianibrunnen"), the old town hall had to make way for Eduard-Bach-Straße in 1855 and was rebuilt on its present site.
