Since 1984 in summer, operettas have been performed in Bad Hall‘s theatre, the Stadttheater. Founded as the >> Robert-Stolz-Festival<< in the first 5 years only his works were exclusively performed: 1984 Venus in Seide, 1985 Zwei Herzen im 3/4 Takt, 1986 Der Tanz ins Glück, 1987 Frühjahrsparade and 1988 Himmelblaue Träume. In 1989, the name was changed to >> Bad Hall Operetta Festival << because for the first time works from other composers were also performed.
