Nikolaus Chapel and Holy Fountain (Place of Power)

Adlwang, Oberösterreich, Österreich

Old >>Holy Fountain tradition<<; the water however does not contain iodine saline, but ordinary spring water (today it is used by the landowner).

The Nikolaus chapel was built in 1987 and is one of the >>small sacred places<< in this area. It stands in the place of St. Nicolai’s subsidiary church of the parish of Waldneukirchen, which was demolished in 1792. On St. Nikolaus’s day there is a lantern procession to the chapel. In May there is evensong.
