This tree is a rarity and very rarely found in parks. This deciduous tree species comes from the genus of cork trees (Phellodendron).
Home: North China, Taiwan
Use: corky bark for cork products

TCM: in Chinese medicine the fruits are used as a remedy. They have a pleasant incense scent.
