Opening concert with the Bad Hall spa orchestra

The spa orchestra starts the new season with this motto.
From May to the end of September, the spa orchestra will once again perform its popular concerts under the baton of Dr. Helmut Windischbauer and his deputy Barbara Garstenauer on Sundays at 3:30 pm in the music pavilion or, in bad weather, in the Bad Hall guest center.
Each concert has a theme. Well-known pieces as well as rarities will be performed. Of course, there are also new arrangements and solo pieces to be heard.

The concerts of the Kurorchester offer a wonderful opportunity to escape from everyday life for a while.
In an atmospheric setting, you can enjoy the music, find peace and let yourself be enchanted by the sounds.
A little time out that provides relaxation and special moments.

A "cur music band" was founded in Bad Hall in 1855. Since then, apart from an interruption during the First World War, there have been regular spa concerts.
The orchestra line-up varied.
The most famous conductors were the later court opera director Gustav Mahler, who began his career in Bad Hall (1880), and Alois Dostal. Probably the most prominent orchestral musician was Prof. Willi Boskovsky, who later became concertmaster of the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra and conductor of many "New Year's Concerts". The Bad Hall spa orchestra is currently conducted by Kpm. Dr. Helmut Windischbauer.

The spa orchestra performs from May to September on Sundays in good weather in the pavilion and in bad weather in the guest center in the spa gardens of Bad Hall (subject to change).
