The Story

Franz Josef and Renate Hartlauer founded a company in 1971 that has since made a name for itself throughout Austria with powerful campaigns. Under the leadership of Robert F. Hartlauer since the year 2000, the tradition-conscious family business, headquartered in Steyr/OÖ, has remained true to its course and is represented as a local supplier in many municipalities and all federal states of Austria. Key elements of success include independent, reliable expert advice, modern store design concepts, local supply close to our customers, and nationwide expansion with a consistent apprenticeship training program and ongoing employee education both in stores and at the Hartlauer Academy.
Today, the Hartlauer network comprises locations in all Austrian federal states and a team of more than 2,000 qualified employees.
