Historical:
Built in 1866 according to the plans of the Viennese architects Derffel & Roth. Because exactly in this year the star architect Theophil Hansen went to Dr. Rabl for a cure, the construction site was certainly visited and a lot of knowledge and ideas were exchanged. From 1867 onwards, the surgery and apartment of the spa doctor Dr. Johann Rabl were located in the house, where he had looked after Franz Grillparzer and Ludwig Anzengruber, among others. Many exotic trees owe their existence in the spa gardens to him.
The villa is one of the oldest preserved examples of bourgeois "world architecture", its clear form clearly shows the influence of the Italian Renaissance.
Long branch of the "Kurhotel" (now "Miraverde"), owned by the state and currently rented out.
