These ball-shaped sand stone spheres originate from the flysch main field (geology) and were found in 2003 in the river Sulzbach near the "Emsenhub".
Some were dug out of the stream and used as decoration in gardens. One such stone can be found by the sexton house (Nikolaus chapel). These stone spheres were originally attributed to the Celts, but geological findings have shown that they occurred naturally. In the absence of further analysis it is impossible to make any concrete declarations.
