Our goal is to make life in the home as individual and independent as possible. Familiar daily routines should be maintained as much as possible and complemented by meaningful activities.
A significant part of the daily routine is the meals. Eating means not only nutrition but also joy of life. Therefore, we offer a varied menu plan with a selection from home-cooked meals to diet cuisine. The dishes are prepared in the in-house kitchen using many organic products and regional foods.
The highlight and center of our house is the centrally located chapel. Regular church services, celebrations throughout the year, and pastoral companionship are of great importance to many residents.
Additionally, a hairdresser and foot care are available in the house for the well-being of our residents.
Events such as joint carnival celebrations, maypole raising, summer festivals, or Advent celebrations, as well as numerous visits from children, are always special highlights and promote community. Flexible visiting hours and involving relatives in all activities form the foundation of social external contacts.
The care of residents in need of assistance is carried out from a holistic perspective that respects, promotes, and offers support based on the individual capabilities of each person according to their existing needs.
Qualified nursing staff, specialized social workers, and nursing assistants are available around the clock for the residents. Personal living habits are taken into account, independence is promoted, and available skills are trained.
Residents have the freedom to choose their doctors, and physiotherapy can be provided by our own therapists at the district senior citizens' residence Bad Hall.
We work according to care planning, with nursing documentation, and maintain quality assurance in the care sector through quality circle work.
Kinäesthetics in care is a movement and communication form based on health promotion with dependent individuals. Overall, Kinaesthetics deals with human movement, which is necessary for performing daily activities. Its goal is to move people as they would do if they were capable of doing it themselves.
By specifically promoting mobility, there is the opportunity to experience and utilize remaining abilities. The goal is also to relearn lost abilities through various learning offers.
In August 2018, we received the award from the European Kinaesthetics Association as the first facility in Upper Austria.
In each of our living areas, there are designated Kinaesthetics representatives. Additionally, all employees of BSWH Bad Hall are trained in the basic Kinaesthetics course. Furthermore, a large number of employees have completed the advanced course. The goal of the employees is to maintain and further develop the Kinaesthetics process for the benefit of both residents and staff.
