Sunday concert with the Bad Hall spa orchestra

The concerts of the spa orchestra offer a wonderful opportunity to escape from everyday life for a while.
In an atmospheric setting, you can enjoy the music, calm down and be enchanted by the sounds.
A little time out that provides relaxation and special moments.

A "cur music band" was founded in Bad Hall in 1855. Since then, apart from an interruption during the First World War, there have been regular spa concerts.
The orchestra line-up varied.
The most famous conductors were the later court opera director Gustav Mahler, who began his career in Bad Hall (1880), and Alois Dostal. Probably the most prominent orchestral musician was Prof. Willi Boskovsky, who later became concertmaster of the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra and conductor of many "New Year's Concerts". The Bad Hall spa orchestra is currently conducted by Kpm. Dr. Helmut Windischbauer.

The spa orchestra performs from May to September on Sundays in good weather in the pavilion and in bad weather in the guest center in the spa gardens of Bad Hall (subject to change).
