The resulting pain caused by the systematic destruction of the joint function (as a result of the reduction of the cartilage layer, partly through overexertion, defective positioning or inflammation) can be successfully relieved through a treatment programme with iodine saline solution. The main cause of arthrotic disorders is being overweight and the defective positioning of the large joints. Spa treatments, in particular the use of iodine saline, can help to alleviate the effects of inflammatory arthrotic musculoskeletal system.
